OPEN ONE CHALLENGE PARTICIPATION
To participate in the Open One Challenge, you need to own a 2009 or 2010 MINI Convertible with the new Openometer and eternal timer (a valid driver's license is good to have too). Next you have to register so we know who you are. Then take a picture of your tachometer and upload it to this website (the tachometer is where the eternal timer is digitally displayed). This will establish your starting point. Then just hit the road and let the Openometer and eternal timer keep track of the hours you spend motoring al fresco. At the end of the month, take another photo of your tachometer and upload it to the website. Your hours will be verified and the total posted to your profile. At the end of each month, if you rank in the top 3 for most open hours motored, you'll need to visit your local MINI Dealer within 5 business days to have your hours officially verified. Following verification, you will receive your prize.
"What if I have a MINI Convertible but don't have an Openometer?"
Good question. If your convertible doesn't have an Openometer, no need to trade it in yet. We haven't left you out. Get involved in the Open One Photo Gallery by uploading your best, most creative, wildest Open Motoring photos to share with the Open Motoring community. Anyone with a MINI Convertible can participate in the Photo Gallery. Simply register on this website and set up your Profile then get out there and motor. Capture your Open Road adventures with a camera. Get creative. Think bug-splattered windshield art, latest doo courtesy of Mother Nature or clouds that look like Abraham Lincoln's majestic profile. Share with the Open community by uploading photos to your gallery. Add a title and details to your photos or comment on other owner photos.

We love to see photos of people having fun, especially photos of people having fun in their MINIs and we encourage you to be creative. We probably don't need to tell you this, but it's just part of that legal stuff — you have to keep it clean and play nice. Rude and crude photos or comments will need to be removed. And if you can't keep it G-rated, w'ell have to remove you from the site.
We also need to remind you that your photos will be posted on the internet for the world to see. Photos can also be shared on Facebook or can be used in promotion or publicity of The Open One Challenge. Once you post a photo to the photo gallery, you can delete it through your Profile if you wish.
